OVERVIEW

Founded in 1946, Andregg Geomatics is a management owned, certified small business with extensive experience providing surveying, mapping, geomatics, and land planning services to clients for both public and private sector projects. The firm is headquartered in Auburn, CA, with offices in Truckee,Sacramento, Oakland, and Los Angeles.

Andregg’s staff includes Professional Land Suveryors licensed in six western states, four Geomatics Engineers, GIS Analysts, staff certified in High-Definition 3D laser scanning, a land planning department, in-house photogrammertry and thirteen survey crews. Andregg survey field crews are members of the Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 and 12.

To meet client’s needs, Andregg provides surveying for transportation, water, public works and land development projects. Andregg’s diverse project portfolio includes surveying and mapping for large transportation projects, treatment plants, commercial and residential developments, pipelines, schools, public works projects and highways. The firm has performed hydrographic surveys, mapped FEMA-designed flood plans, conducted surveying and right-of-way engineering for government agencies and developed geodetic control networks for numerous cities and agencies.

Technologies that are used on projects include the Leica Geosystems HDS 3000 3D laser scanner, Real-Time Kinematic GPS, digital first-order photogrammetrics, total stations with robotic, digital bar-code levels, and a hydrographic skiff with GPS-integrated echo sounding. Andregg’s ability to adapt leading edge technology, sound engineering practice and innovative problem solving to traditional surveying and mapping projects provides a superior service in a cost effective and timely manner.
